These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the Live Notifications bot (the "Bot"), operated by National STOL (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By adding, configuring, or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms.
The Bot monitors publicly available YouTube channels and posts a notification in a designated Discord channel when a monitored channel goes live. Each notification links to the public YouTube stream so members can watch on YouTube. The Bot is provided free of charge for community use.
The Bot uses YouTube API Services. By using the Bot, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Bot accesses only public YouTube metadata in a read-only manner and does not access any YouTube user account. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to use the Bot to:
Administrative commands (adding/removing channels, changing settings) are restricted to Discord server administrators.
The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that live streams will always be detected (for example, a stream that starts and ends between check intervals may be missed) or that the service will be uninterrupted. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Bot is provided without warranties of any kind. The Operator is not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Bot, including missed notifications or service interruptions.
The Bot relies on Discord and YouTube/Google services, which are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for those third-party services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
